Description and Requirements
Position Summary
This position will have direct responsibility, as a Program Project Management representative, for the day- to -day program management of strategic programs ensuring operational excellence through the identification, prioritization, and implementation of projects / programs that meet strategic, tactical, market, and customer demands. Identifies and resolves project interdependencies, overlaps and integration concerns across the portfolio. Develops and implements a consistently deployed approach to multi-disciplinary project management. Drive change management and manage changes including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple high-priority programs that include various overlapping phases and moderate to large size teams
  • Translate the Business Sponsor's mandate into defined Business objectives and Program goals.
  • Proactive engagement of internal and external business partners to lead ad develop innovative approach to improving the content and quality of the business' project management methodology
  • Understand and govern Project Life Cycle and deliverables
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage project budget and timelines to meet speed and cost to market objectives.
  • Lead collaboration with Business and Technology to define and deliver solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Create business presentations and slides for Senior management
  • Manage small/large cross functional teams, anticipate staffing needs, acquire talent for the future, and manage attrition.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance, to raise individual and organizational capabilities


Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
Graduates or Post-Graduates with strong communication skills
Experience

  • Overall 10+ years of work experience with 8-10 years of relevant experience in PPM function
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience will be preferred in case of a team manager role


Technical Skills

  • Independently lead project/program
  • Ability to lead project team members that spans multiple functions and areas.
  • Experience in creating and delivering Business presentations
  • Must be able to facilitate large groups, conduct effective meetings, enforce accountability, and drive issue resolution.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills required, with the ability to establish strong relationships at all levels of management.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities required.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Quick learner with analytical bend of mind and eye for details
  • Teamwork/ Managing Self / Adaptability to change
  • Ability to work successfully in production driven environment
  • Should be good in excel reporting (knowledge of graphs, pivots, macros, VLOOKUP, etc. is an advantage)
  • Excellent documentation skills example- creating SOPs, process maps etc.
  • Interpersonal communication and influencing skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Exhibit use of sound business judgment
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, as appropriate
  • Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to business problems
  • Effectively manage research/resolution/follow-ups for closure of open items
  • Build relationship with Onshore Management to ensure a "one-team approach"


Other Critical Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training - if required)

  • Should be proficient in MSP tool, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Project management certifications are preferred
