Overview:

Our team is responsible for products, tools and services to manage and streamline all AI efforts at LivePerson.  This is an opportunity to shape the way we do data science and build AI-based products.  Topics include generative AI application building (and tools/frameworks), LLM fine-tuning pipelines, feature extraction and storage, experiment tracking, transformation and training pipelines, deployment and large-scale serving of models.  In addition, you will be providing engineering support for ML model development, which includes optimization of ML models for production, architectural oversight of model dependencies and integration with products and services.


You will: 

  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of our internal machine learning platform
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of our consumer-facing Generative AI development product
  • Design, build and integrate systems to manage the full machine learning lifecycle.
  • Work closely with data scientists and other teams to optimize training and serving of ML models & services.
  • Build effective monitoring systems to keep track of the health of our systems, and alert us to take action before incidents occur.


You have:

  • 4+ years of software  development experience 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Python 3
  • Some model-building experience is preferred, as it is very useful for understanding the problem space, and helping the science team with their tasks.
  • Prior experience with ML engineering or MLOps-related topics is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, mathematics or an engineering discipline
  • Required to participate in on- call rotations as needed.
  •  


 Benefits: 

The salary range for this role will be between 104,000 to 130,000 CAD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications.
