We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join the Core Banking Solutions team. This is a full-time opportunity for an SAP professional with strong hands-on experience in object-oriented ABAP development, automated testing, and testable code practices.
The successful candidate will support both day-to-day and strategic ABAP development initiatives, particularly across CML, CMS, and SAP HANA-related business processes, while actively participating in Agile/Scrum activities.
Requirements
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support SAP ABAP applications and solutions.
- Perform object-oriented ABAP development following established coding standards and best practices.
- Support ABAP development related to CML/CMS and SAP HANA business processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable ABAP code.
- Develop and maintain ABAP unit tests and automated testing solutions.
- Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) principles within ABAP development.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, QA, and other technical teams.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to both day-to-day operational support and strategic development initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP object-oriented development.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development and programming.
- ABAP training and/or certification.
- Experience developing unit tests in ABAP.
- Practical experience with ABAP Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Ability to develop clean and testable ABAP code.
- Completion of the openSAP course “Writing Testable Code” or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
