We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Territory Manager to join our growing MedTech company, a leader in the orthopedic sector. Based in Canada, this pivotal role requires an individual with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the orthopedic industry. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key stakeholders, driving revenue growth, and strategically positioning our innovative orthopedic solutions in the Canadian market.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager (NSM), the role is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all territory sales initiatives and territory administration. A focus on meeting and achieving sales targets while developing key customer and account relationships. Position Enovis competitively by demonstrating the cost effectiveness and clinical efficacy of Enovis products and therapies. This role will provide added value to customers through your business expertise by staying up to date on the latest trends in pain in recovery treatments and therapies.

Essential Functions
 

  • Manage the life cycle of all assigned Contracts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent and sustained basis.
  • In consultation with National Sales Manager (NSM) and marketing team, develop business plans for territory focused on growth and increase in competitive share.
  • Review, update, adjust business plans on a regular basis ensuring they are strategic, effective and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota.
  • Implement and follow-up on a timely basis all marketing priorities and initiatives within assigned territory.
  • Confident in navigating all patient care settings. Regular interactions with Surgeons, Physicians, Athletic Therapists, Physiotherapists, Home Health Agencies, Medical Directors
  • Discover, initiate, develop and leverage strategic relationships with key customers: Hospital Executives & Administrators, Material Managers, Clinical or Unit Directors, Department Heads, relevant, clinical personnel etc.
  • Liaise with other team members to create demand for products within assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and marketing team to plan and organize customer Medical Education events.
  • Along with team, identify Key Opinion/Education Leaders in your territory to foster and develop for education purposes.
  • Monitor awarded contracts at accounts and ensure compliance to awarded products.
  • Constantly seek out new business opportunities and aggressively target competitive business and accounts.
  • Present and participate in monthly, quarterly business reviews, present territory business updates and growth opportunities. Effectively communicate performance versus sales plan, key understanding of gaps and how to close them, marketplace developments, competitive intelligence, key issues, trends, and quantifiable review of what is & is not working.
  • Participate in customer conferences, symposiums, meetings, preceptorships, and training sessions, which may take place weekdays or weekends, to drive the business and achieve annual sales targets.
  • Develop a proficient working knowledge of Enovis product portfolio.

Education & Experience
 

  • Degree in Business or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in healthcare sales environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of healthcare industry as well as GPOs, procurement & healthcare systems.
  • Proven working experience in managing complex projects in the Canadian Healthcare field.

General Skills/Competencies/Specialized Knowledge
 

  • Strong knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and strategy development
  • Strong computer skills with a solid knowledge of Windows and Microsoft systems; advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in professional selling skills, a Challenger-trained mindset is an advantage.
  • Accountable for managing territory business building budget.
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Meticulous and takes personal accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of financial implications.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure professionally.
  • Take-charge attitude and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong and effective communication skills; articulate clearly, respectively, and honestly.
  • Strong organizational skills and innovative thinking,
  • Committed to a safe and healthy work environment with an initiative-taking, and cooperative attitude.
  • Up to 30% travel within territory.
