Reporting to the Director, Zurn Elkay Canada, the Sales Operations and Marketing Specialist works in a fast paced environment, on a highly collaborative team in an inclusive environment. The position is responsible for the key accountabilities described below.

Please note: This is a 15 month contract position

This position resides in Brampton, ON which is the location of our Toronto Service Centre.

  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Manage and distribute key sales reports, including annual forecasts, monthly performance reports, daily sales metrics, and Rep Cup. Support the achievement of Canada FNO/FNS targets by identifying growth opportunities and potential risks.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between Sales and other departments to resolve issues, ensure alignment, and promote continuous improvement. Work with Sales Reps to generate monthly reports supporting Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs).

  • New Product Launch (NPD) Management: Oversee the project management of new product launches, collaborating with Marketing to align all departments and ensure successful execution within the established timeline.

  • Event Coordination: Plan and manage marketing events, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of products, personnel, third-party vendors, and marketing materials. Ensure adherence to budget guidelines and develop plans for future events.

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Collaborate with Zurn Shared Services and other teams (e.g., Contractor & Specification Team) to support Canadian territory growth initiatives. Partner with ASMs and BDMs to create strategies that drive market expansion.

  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead the Sales team’s Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, facilitating kaizen events and promoting a culture of innovation to achieve CI targets for each team member.

  • Training Management: Coordinate training sessions with the ASMs, BDMs, and Zurn Elkay training team to tailor programs for customers and end-users. Oversee training facilities and showroom management in Brampton and other locations.

  • Pricing & Order Processing: Support the Senior Pricing Manager by processing regional price holds and acting as a backup nationally. Approve sample and no-charge orders while identifying opportunities to streamline costs.

  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Testing Management: Handle the logistics of product returns for testing and communicate results to the sales team to guide next steps with customers.

  • Elkay Showroom Display Coordination: Source and manage showroom displays for the sales reps, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.

  • Promotional Material Management: Own the distribution and management of Zurn promotional materials, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest resources.

  • Travel & Support: Occasionally travel to business units and attend bootcamps to support ASMs, BDMs, and Zurn Elkay’s customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, Business or Marketing preferred (or a combination of equivalent experience/education)

  • 5+ years of professional experience in either sales, marketing or customer service

  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management applications preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to complete national travel up to 10%
