As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Partnerships team and help optimize our sales processes, technology, and reporting systems, specifically supporting our external sales channels and partnerships.

Role Overview

As a Sales Operations Analyst at Paystone, you’ll be a key player in driving operational excellence within our Partnerships team. You will support the optimization of sales processes, reporting systems, and technology, focusing primarily on external sales channels and partner relationships. This includes managing reporting, data infrastructure, compensation payouts, partner profitability analysis, building dashboards, implementing sales incentives, pipeline reviews, conversion rates, and supporting contract administration.

Your contributions will be essential in strengthening and expanding our external sales network and partnerships, ensuring smooth collaboration and data flow to support business growth. Responsibilities

1. Partnership Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and manage dashboards to track sales performance, partner metrics, and process efficiency within our external sales channels.

  • Analyze partner profitability, sales conversion rates, churn, and pipeline health, providing actionable insights for operational improvement.

  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure alignment with business goals and to optimize partner performance.

2. Data Infrastructure & Tools Management

  • Develop and maintain sales data infrastructure for seamless reporting and data access across internal teams and external partners.

  • Implement best practices for data integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency of partner-related data across platforms like Salesforce.

  • Conduct data validation and user testing of dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal teams and external sales partners.

3. Sales Support for Partnerships

  • Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure that sales processes are aligned and optimized for maximum impact.

  • Assist with contract administration, ensuring partnership agreements and sales contracts comply with company policies and terms.

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to external sales teams and partners, answering queries related to reports, sales processes, and performance.

4. Sales Incentives & Partner Compensation

  • Implement and manage sales incentive programs for external partners, ensuring alignment with Paystone’s business objectives.

  • Support commission calculation and tracking for external sales channels, ensuring accurate compensation based on performance.

5. Strategic Operations & External Partnerships

  • Work closely with the Partnerships team to gather feedback from external sales partners and adjust operational strategies for mutual success.

  • Help guide strategic planning for external sales channels by providing data-driven insights on performance, opportunities, and risks.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational processes and the efficiency of external sales teams.

Requirements
  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in sales operations, sales analytics, or a related field, with a focus on external sales or partnerships.

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, and light administration).

  • Expertise in data analysis, with experience handling large datasets and extracting insights from platforms like Excel/Sheets or other data tools.

  • Proven ability to build and manage reports and dashboards that support business decisions and partner performance.

  • Experience with partner compensation management and sales incentive programs.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external sales partners.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing business needs quickly.

  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently while also collaborating across teams.


Bonus Points For
  • Experience working directly with external sales channels or partner management.

  • Experience with sales technologies such as Salesforce, Magentrix, Chorus.ai, Forma.ai.

  • Familiarity with compensation models and managing incentive structures for external partners.

  • Sales experience or a background in sales strategy and operations.
