Salary

$60,000 - $100,000 base salary dependent on experience and previous results.

Override commissions and bonuses 

OTE of $150,000 - $200,000

Hiring Bonus

$4000 ($1000 after 30 days, $3000 after 120 days)

Role Overview

We believe in leading by example. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate their ability to achieve sales targets before building their team in the Toronto market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team that conducts business-to-business (B2B) sales in person, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire sales process. 

The Sales Manager will also be responsible for coaching / training its members in the field by shadowing them, assisting with business-to-business interactions, and helping to close sales as the team is built.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the merchant services sector.

Client Acquisition: Produce sales yourself & oversee the acquisition of new business clients through B2B interactions, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

Field Training: Coach & train team members in the field by shadowing them, assisting with business-to-business interactions, and helping to close sales.

Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement improvement plans where necessary.

Training & Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques and product knowledge.

Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.

Reporting: Generate detailed sales reports and present them to senior management regularly.

Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.

Requirements

Experience: Provable experience and success in selling merchant services using face to face sales, ideally with team management and training experience.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.

Attributes: Energetic, self-motivated, and goal oriented. Must enjoy working with people and thriving in a competitive environment.

Field Presence: Willingness to coach and train team members in the field, shadowing them during business-to-business interactions and helping to close deals.

Compliance: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
