POSITION SUMMARY:The Sales Executive, Hyperscalers & AI will focus on developing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth with the world’s leading hyperscalers, AI companies, and selecting accounts. This role requires a proven ability to sell into complex and highly competitive environments, build trusted executive-level relationships, and influence large-scale whitespace infrastructure deployments. The Sales Executive will be responsible for territory strategy, account development, solution positioning, and closing high-value opportunities. Based in the Bay Area, CA, this quota-carrying role requires deep knowledge of hyperscaler procurement processes, AI data center requirements, and next-generation cooling and infrastructure solutions.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas by developing and closing large, strategic opportunities with hyperscalers, AI companies, and named accounts.
- Develop and execute account strategies to penetrate hyperscaler and AI ecosystems, including procurement, engineering, and operations teams.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CTOs, infrastructure leaders, and procurement executives at top hyperscalers and AI firms.
- Drive inclusion of DDC Solutions’ products into hyperscaler design standards, reference architecture, and approved vendor programs.
- Identify and qualify large-scale whitespace infrastructure projects, aligning DDC’s solutions to high-density and AI-driven workloads.
- Work collaboratively with internal engineering, product, and executive teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
- Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles with contract values exceeding tens of millions of dollars.
- Represent DDC Solutions at industry events, hyperscaler summits, and AI technology forums in the Bay Area and globally.
- Provide accurate forecasting, territory planning, and sales reporting to leadership.
- Maintain strong presence with AI and hyperscaler customers through regular travel and in-person engagement.
This job has no initial supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of successful hyperscaler, AI or enterprise sales experience in the data center, IT infrastructure, or HPC/ AI industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and winning business with hyperscalers, AI companies, or Fortune 500 named accounts.
- Must have existing executive level data center team relationships with a hyperscaler:
- Meta, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Apple – Primary targets
- Core Weave, Lambda, Oracle – secondary targets
- Demonstrated success in strategic, solution-based selling of complex hardware/ software with long sales cycles.
- Deep knowledge of hyperscaler procurement processes, AI data center requirements, GPU infrastructure, and whitespace cooling technologies.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and navigate complex customer organizations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with strong business acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
This role is based in the Bay Area/ Northern CA with easy access to major hyperscaler and AI company headquarters. The role requires close collaboration with DDC Solutions’ cross-functional teams as well as customer procurement, engineering, and executive stakeholders. Travel up to 50% is expected.
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000-$220,000. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
