Do you want to help make the world safe from cyber attack?
At Corelight, we believe that the best approach to cybersecurity risk starts with the network.  Attackers can evade endpoint detection, firewalls and many other technologies - but they can’t avoid leaving digital footprints on the networks they traverse.  Built on open-source innovations from Zeek, Suricata and YARA and refined through years of real-world use,  Corelight transforms network footprints from physical, virtual and cloud networks into actionable insights.   Our customers use these insights to speed incident response and proactively hunt for threats.

Corelight is seeking a highly-motivated, inherently curious individual to join our team as a Pre-Sales Security Engineer for our Federal Team covering our Canadian Territory.  In this role you will be promoting security, developing presentations, account plans, and responding to RFI/RFPs. You will use your technical aptitude and business acumen to develop solutions that address customer problems while establishing trust.  An ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about security, thrives when they solve customer problems, listens well, and has start-up DNA.

  • Remove technology-related buying objections from the sales opportunities
  • Track customer engagements using Salesforce

  • Expert written and oral communication skills
  • Expert presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge in networking (for example: experience analyzing packet captures)
