DESCRIPTION : The Sales Director is responsible for developing and monitoring sales growth strategies, identifying new markets and customers, and ensuring the maintenance of strong client relationships.
They will oversee the sales representatives team, ensure their training, and monitor their performance and activities. They will participate in pricing management, the establishment of sales targets, and the follow-up of complex administrative matters, while ensuring the smooth operation of the branch under their responsibility.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and forecasts to drive
business growth.
- Identify, develop, and penetrate new markets and customer
segments.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships while
providing ongoing after-sales support.
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and
professional manner.
- Contribute to the achievement of annual sales and business
objectives.
- Ensure the implementation and follow-up of the marketing
plan and define effective client engagement strategies.
- Actively participate in business development and
relationship-building activities, including trade shows, industry events, and
networking opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between operational divisions
and the sales team.
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and manage sales
representatives.
- Optimize sales processes, work methods, and team
performance.
- Monitor and support the achievement of individual and team
sales targets.
- Manage and oversee tender and bid submission processes.
- Monitor administrative matters, including accounts
receivable and internal procedures.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and support initiatives
that protect company margins and business interests.
- Review and monitor team expenses to ensure cost-effective
operations.
- Participate in business development, operational
improvement, and technical projects approved by management.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the branch
under their responsibility. Support the overall achievement of organizational
objectives and operational excellence.
Profil
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Proven experience technical sales and business development.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a focus on effectively closing deals.
- Knowledge of the Ontario construction market.
- Experience with CRM and marketing software (an asset).
- Strong business acumen.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Excellent decision-making, organizational, time-management, administrative, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent English; oral and written.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed including overnight stays outside the region.
Informations contractuelles
- Base salary between $80,000 and $100,000, package between $100,000 and $140,000.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Insurance.
- Car allowance.
