As a Sales Development Representative, you will support our Field and Inside Sales Representatives by handling incoming customer interactions, where you will focus on providing an excellent customer experience. You’ll also contribute to market analysis to find new opportunities and assist with meeting administration, data entry, and document management for our teams. While this is a Vancouver-based role, we are looking for someone to help with coverage for our early customers and the expected hours will be 7AM to 3PM.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply scientific expertise, business acumen, and solution-oriented customer service to establish and nurture positive relationships with customers

  • Engage with and support prospective STEMCELL customers via LiveChat, e-mail, cold-calling and social media (eg LinkedIn)

  • Perform literature and market analysis to identify and target potential new customers, and set up meetings or calls with appropriate territory sales representatives 

  • Assist with data entry and administrative duties for our Marketing, Inside Sales, and Field Sales teams

  • Document communications and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database for the Sales team

Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Post secondary degree in the Life Sciences; experience in a lab environment (cell culture or immunological assay experience) is an asset

  • Sales, marketing, or customer service experience or familiarity is an asset

  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-focused environment

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$58,600.00 - $79,200.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
