We are seeking an all-star Sales Development Rep (SDR) Manager to lead a team of SDRs who deliver highly qualified meetings to the sales team. The Manager, SDR will be responsible for continuous training and ensuring the growth and success of the SDRs. This role collaborates closely with sales and marketing groups to maximize pipeline creation. The candidate must be a strong coach & leader, extremely well organized and continuously improve the SDR program as a whole. As we are a startup, we are currently seeking a dynamic and agile individual who will assist us in kicking off this side of the business the right way. You will be responsible for building out our sales team - as well as closing deals with prospective customers - for the first 3 months.
The Role
- Train and manage the SDR team on how to prospect, qualify leads, and exceed goals
- Recruit the top talent in the world to join your team
- Prioritize 1:1's and coaching to develop your teams’ talent to grow into new opportunities at Lacework
- Track follow up on daily MQLs, contact us form submissions, live chat inquiries and other inbound sales-ready leads in adherence with “speed to lead” SLA
- Partner with regional sales directors and field marketing to execute cross-functional demand generation in key accounts for our field sales team
- Help balance the lead flow among the SDR team and drive target account outreach
- Identify methods to optimize Salesforce, Five9, Dialpad, and other selling tools to improve SDR productivity
- Be metrics driven. Continually optimize SDR processes as well as messaging, cadences, and campaigns for optimal results
- Develop career progression and development path for SDRs, working closely with cross-functional leadership team
- Partner with HR to develop SDR comp plans that are aligned to industry best practices and are fair and equitable to all parties
- Work with marketing and sales leadership to optimize pipeline and revenue creation
- 3+ years selling in a consultative selling environment
- 3+ years of experience managing an SDR team
- Expertise in prospecting and sales best practices
- Proven ability to spot talent, hire and grow SDRs to be Sales rock-stars
- Quick ability to master selling tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Dialpad)
- A natural leader - Be a great coach and have solid people skills to foster a strong team
- You are approachable, a natural problem solver, and have grit
- This is a base + commission role.
- There is (currently) no cap on the amount of commissions you can earn on a deal.
- All of the leads are generated by our company - no cold prospecting required.
