Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads, engaging with prospects, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart a career in sales with a fast-paced, dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various sources, including LinkedIn, industry directories, and inbound marketing leads.
  • Cold Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and social media to engage with decision-makers and generate interest in the company’s products or services.
  • Qualifying Leads: Identify and qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and how the company’s offerings can provide value.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team withqualified leads, ensuring that prospects are ready for the next step in the sales process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and lead-handling processes, and provide feedback on lead quality.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospects in the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Follow-up: Manage and execute follow-up activities to nurture leads and keep them engaged throughout the sales funnel.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including the number of leads contacted, qualified, and converted into sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • (preferred but not required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or business development role (internships and part-time roles considered).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with prospects.
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and cold-calling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for sales.
