Role 


As the Sales Development Manager at #paid, you will lead our team of sales development representatives to engage prospects creatively, exceed targets, and grow into future leaders within the company. Your leadership will play a vital role in inspiring the team, structuring processes, and ensuring their success in connecting with the right customers.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and coach the sales development team to consistently achieve and exceed targets
  • Create and implement effective onboarding and training programs to help new team members ramp up quickly
  • Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to engage prospects and generate responses
  • Measure team performance through clear metrics and optimize processes as needed
  • Structure the team to effectively balance inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align on messaging, target audience, and pipeline goals
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure the team consistently contributes high-quality opportunities to the sales pipeline, driving revenue growth
  • Create and share performance reports with leadership to ensure transparency and track progress toward goals

To be successful, you'll need to

  • Communicate a clear vision for the team and inspire excitement about their role in the company’s success
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Use data to measure and improve team performance effectively
  • Understand how to structure salaries, variable compensation, and motivational initiatives
  • Leverage sales and marketing technology tools, such as Salesforce, Outreach, or similar platforms
  • Define and target ideal customer profiles and buyer personas
  • Think creatively and strategically to address challenges and drive results

About you

  • Previous experience managing or working within a sales development or similar team
  • Familiarity with targeting enterprise accounts, especially marketers, is a plus
  • A genuine passion for people, demonstrated through your ability to attract, retain, and grow talent
  • A mindset of accountability—you take full ownership of outcomes and look inward before assigning blame
  • An intentional and strategic thinker who considers long-term impacts when making decisions
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • A proven track record of fostering a positive, high-performing team culture that motivates individuals to achieve their best
