Primary Functions

  • Provide coaching, leadership and guidance to the Sales Development team. 
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective and strategic Target Account Plans. 
  • Support and provide guidance on complex or escalated Targeted Accounts. 
  • Develop and analyze in-depth metrics and KPIs to evaluate team effectiveness and ability to meet targets. 
  • Create regular reports for managers and leaders, when required. 
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers and internal resources to ensure challenges and drivers are identified and addressed. 
  • Provide guidance to the Sales Development team in identifying, contacting and creating qualified leads. 
  • Update and develop scalable Sales Development processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Ensure Salesforce data is accurate, regularly updated and maintained. 
  • Lead resource planning and recruitment efforts to identify needs and highly qualified candidates. 
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Smile Digital Health’s value-proposition, target industries, target personas, technology platform, solutions, and pricing structure as well as industry and market trends.
  • Comply with the privacy, security and confidentiality policies. 

Pre-Requisites

  • 5+ years in a Sales, Business Development and/or Sales Development and/or similar role. Experience in healthcare and/or technology preferred. 
  • 2+ years in a lead or people management role. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experience building relationships and engaging with all levels of internal and external organizational resources or key individuals. 
  • Strong problem solving, data analysis, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results for a team of highly qualified Sales Development members or similar roles. 
  • Experience in Google Suites, Microsoft and Salesforce, strongly preferred.
