Job Description
Chase Business Banking operates in over 5,000 branches across the country, providing financial services to approximately 2.5 million business clients. As a Sales and Strategy Support Manager for Know your Customer (KYC) in Business Banking, you are responsible for enhancing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to improve customer experience and reduce risk through effective monitoring and controls. The role involves close collaboration with Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC)Governance, Know Your Customer(KYC) Operations, and Sales Management to drive change and achieve results. Additionally, the manager supports the strategic goals of the Business Banking Chief Administrative Officer (CAL) by aligning Know Your Customer(KYC) improvements with broader business strategies.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and workflows specific to Business Banking customers, focusing on both onboarding new customers and minimizing impacts after account opening.
  • Proactively work with Know Your Customer(KYC) partners to implement rules and processes that enhance the customer experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and effective risk controls.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Business, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Controls, Risk, Audit and Technology, to ensure consistent risk management practices and control programs across the firm.
  • Demonstrate exemplary personal and professional qualities, inspiring confidence among staff and key partners across different functional areas and business lines.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years' of financial services experience in sales, controls or risk management, or compliance
  • Management experience leading broad cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver best practices
  • Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgement to influence a strong culture and isk management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to develop compelling and meaningful executive presentations to drive opportunities and recommendations for improvement


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) Experience: Familiarity with Know Your Customer(KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering(AML) requirements and the ability to effectively execute these in a sales environment.
  • Relevant Experience: Background in customer process execution, risk management, legal, or compliance.
  • Business Acumen: General understanding of business operations and regulations affecting the business sector.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
  • Autonomy and Adaptability: Ability to work independently to drive change, adapt to shifting priorities, manage competing priorities, and the thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Process and Risk Analysis: Skill in process analysis and design, with the ability to understand processes and associated risks to inform control design.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data to draw appropriate conclusions.
