The Sales Activator’s main priority is driving excellent trade execution throughout their market, in partnership with the local Distribution Partner. 
 

Key responsibilities include: Executing long term sales drivers in key retail and impulse accounts, securing distribution of Red Bull in new accounts across all channels, implementation of merchandising standards; tracking and measuring KPI execution, and coordinating with local distribution partner to ensure flawless execution.

Job Description

EXECUTION

Drive Red Bull Perfect Store conditions to Win vs Competition in the market.

Execute, with the DP, the opening of new accounts (REACH) to expand the number of rooftops buying directly from Red Bull.

Actively sell additional points of distribution (display) to improve the in-store presence of the Red Bull brand.

Actively encourages DPs to enroll independent accounts into the Volume Incentive Program (VIP), following up with a robust routine to ensure program compliance and growth.

Wired sell with the key regional strategic accounts to drive efficient promotional execution and in–store conditions.

 

PLANNING

Effectively plans their schedule to maximize time in stores with the greatest impact.

Consistently communicate with DP field personnel to guarantee alignment and focus on the daily/weekly/monthly priorities.

Initiates plans to drive KPI execution and maintain vertical accountability throughout the organization.

Plan, build, and lead relevant seasonal trade-blitzes to capture key peak volume opportunities.

 

CONSULTATIVE

Effectively leverage available data to drive insights to support selling story.

Acts as a trusted advisor to key customers in the market.

Communicates regularly and works cross functionally with both the internal team and the DP.

Be a credible contributor to the local full cell team.

Brings the brand to life by championing the World of Red Bull mentality and mindset.

Qualifications

Outstanding sales experience and track record in Consumer Goods industry (Beverage Preferred), +3 years. Distributor and Supplier experience preferred.

Ability to lead, manage and motivate distribution partners with experience, +3 years.

Strong communicator and motivator.

Excellent negotiator and influencer.

Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies.

Strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles.

Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability.

Able to work independently with responsibility, and be organized.

Experience with basic administrative programs, Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

University – Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Additional Information

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $57,000 to $63,000. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
