Designs user-centered interfaces and digital experiences for web, mobile, and other platforms. Conducts end-to-end user research, interviews, surveys, usability testing, and iterative design. Produces sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation. Leads UX projects, workshops, and stakeholder alignment while collaborating with developers, QA specialists, and business users. Applies accessibility principles, Ontario Design System standards, and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing
interfaces.
- Design the overall functionality of the product in order to
ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with
user-testing.
- Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital
displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and
iterate the designs.
- Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys,
and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps,
wireframes, mockups and prototypes

- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user
interaction and performance
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI
