Description:

Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk network-security focused deployment and migration projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.

Ensures project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope, and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.

Works closely with internal OPS teams and vendors to ensure the successful acceptance, timely execution, and day-2 supportability and operability of all project changes and deliverables.

 

In this role the Senior Project Manager will:

Focus on strengthening enterprise common infrastructure, privileged access and identity management, IT system security enhancements, data, and network protection services by: 

  • supporting the Strengthening Cyber Protection for the OPS pillar of the OPS Cyber Security Strategy 
  • prioritizing client engagements in the adoption of security tools, technologies, and processes for cyber security maturity. 
  • establishing and reporting on project plans and lead project teams working on joint initiatives with key stakeholders (e.g. Infrastructure Technology Operations Division). 
  • providing oversight on the secure by design practices supporting the design of enterprise security tools, monitoring, data reporting platforms, and critical value asset safeguards.

  • Cybersecurity background
  • Accountability for PMLC/Take responsibility and ownership for project
  • PMLC to drive continuous improvement to service design of the overall project 
  • understanding of security platforms and capabilities - MS office technology security stack for example.
  • understanding security platforms on the network side
  • Understanding data and analytics platforms
