Description:
A senior full-stack software developer who will be
responsible for ongoing development of the Ontario Agricultural Soil
Information System (OASIS). The OASIS solution comprises the OASIS core web
application (built using Azure Cloud Java technology) and OASIS field data
application (built using ESRI GIS technology).
Background:
The purpose of the Ontario Agricultural Soil Information
System (OASIS) project is to design and develop a robust, comprehensive system
for the collection, storage and maintenance of OMAFA’s legacy and new
agricultural soil data in alignment to actions under the Soil Strategy and
other emerging OMAFA and government initiatives.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Must Haves:
At least 1+ year of experience developing and implementing Java
solutions targeting soil management systems.
5+ years of full-stack Java development knowledge and experience
designing and delivering solutions using:
- Java/JEE
technology with Spring Boot version 2.5 or higher
- Angular

APIs
- Databases
