Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

  • Extensive experience providing business analysis services for complex I&IT initiatives with diverse business and technology stakeholders.
  • Expertise eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, prioritizing, and managing business, functional, non-functional, process, and data requirements.
  • Experience facilitating requirements gathering activities using techniques such as interviews, workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex business problems, opportunities, risks, and strategic objectives.
  • Experience conducting current-state and future-state analysis and identifying opportunities for business process improvement and service modernization.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture standards, system development methodologies, and project gating requirements.
  • Proven ability to facilitate business, technical, and executive stakeholders through complex discussions, competing priorities, and decision-making processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Azure DevOps, and business modelling tools.

 

Skill Set Requirements:

Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

  • Extensive experience providing business analysis services for complex I&IT initiatives with diverse business and technology stakeholders.
  • Expertise eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, prioritizing, and managing business, functional, non-functional, process, and data requirements.
  • Experience facilitating requirements gathering activities using techniques such as interviews, workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business objectives through implementation and operational transition.
  • Experience developing use cases, business rules, process models, data models, workflows, and requirements specifications.
  • Experience using requirements management and traceability tools such as Azure DevOps, IBM DOORS, or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to align requirements with business objectives, strategic priorities, solution decisions, and project outcomes.

 

Business Process Analysis & Strategic Advisory Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex business problems, opportunities, risks, and strategic objectives.
  • Experience conducting current-state and future-state analysis and identifying opportunities for business process improvement and service modernization.
  • Expertise applying business process re-engineering methodologies to support efficient and cost-effective service delivery models.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation, modernization, migration, and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives, develop evidence-based recommendations, and support informed decision-making.
  • Experience translating business, process, and data requirements into specifications that support technology solution design and implementation.
  • Awareness of emerging I&IT trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

 

Governance, Risk Management & Quality Assurance:

  • Experience developing and maintaining business analysis governance frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and quality controls.
  • Experience developing governance artifacts including business cases, cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, options analyses, decision papers, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture standards, system development methodologies, and project gating requirements.
  • Experience maintaining comprehensive documentation, approvals, traceability artifacts, governance decisions, and audit records.
  • Experience developing and monitoring performance measures, benefit realization metrics, and post-implementation evaluations.

 

Stakeholder Engagement, Communication & Facilitation Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and managing relationships with business stakeholders, executive sponsors, project teams, vendors, external partners, and technical resources.
  • Proven ability to facilitate business, technical, and executive stakeholders through complex discussions, competing priorities, and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience preparing and delivering executive briefings, presentations, status reports, recommendations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to support business readiness and organizational change initiatives by communicating impacts, risks, rationale, and expected outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and consistently deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Azure DevOps, and business modelling tools.
