Lead enterprise architecture design and governance across cloud, hybrid, infrastructure, application, data, security, and integration domains. Drive Azure-based modernization, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, IaC and CI/CD adoption, prepare architecture roadmaps, and advise stakeholders while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, compliance, and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Architect will provide overall technical
leadership for the Technology Management Plan (TMP) and MNR initiatives,
leading the design, development, implementation, and governance of enterprise
architecture solutions across complex, large-scale, distributed, and
cross-platform environments. The role is responsible for defining and managing
the target technical architecture, including cloud, infrastructure,
application, data, security, integration, and communications components, while
ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and
government policies. The Senior Architect will guide technology modernization
efforts, support the transition from legacy and on-premises solutions to cloud
and hybrid platforms, and provide expert advice on Azure-based technologies,
DevOps practices, and enterprise integration patterns.

Must Haves:
- Experience developing, recommending, implementing and
managing enterprise technical architectures across hardware, software,
databases, networking and cloud environments.
- Extensive experience designing solutions within large,
distributed, multi-platform environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing
enterprise solutions in Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, identity,
networking, security and governance services.
- Experience integrating Azure services with enterprise
applications, data platforms and third-party solutions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve
complex technical issues in cross-platform cloud environments.
- Technical leadership experience in the development and
implementation of enterprise architectures.
Nice to Have:
- Prior OPS or Public Sector experience

- Experience developing, recommending, implementing and

integration patterns, middleware and gateways.
- Experience preparing conceptual, logical and physical

- Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables
and architectural roadmaps.
Cloud, DevOps & Modern Technologies:
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing
enterprise solutions in Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, identity,
networking, security and governance services.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines,
Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience integrating Azure services with enterprise
applications, data platforms and third-party solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure landing zones, cloud adoption frameworks
and hybrid-cloud architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated awareness and application of emerging
technologies, trends and industry best practices.
Analytical, Problem Solving & Governance Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve
complex technical issues in cross-platform cloud environments.
- Experience evaluating technology options and making
architecture recommendations that align with business and enterprise standards.
- Knowledge and experience applying ITIL-based operational
processes and service management practices.
- Experience implementing solutions that comply with security,
privacy, compliance and enterprise architecture standards.
- Ability to assess risks, identify mitigation strategies and
provide technology guidance to stakeholders.
Leadership, Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Technical leadership experience in the development and
implementation of enterprise architectures.
- Ability to provide architecture direction, mentorship and
guidance to project teams and technical resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present
technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong negotiation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within Agile
and DevOps delivery environments while meeting project deadlines.
