Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Risk Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

The Risk Analyst role in Mississauga supports Nissan Canada Finance by developing and maintaining risk models, policies, and processes across credit, compliance, and operational risk areas.

A Day in the Life:

  • Monitor risk strategy effectiveness and portfolio performance trends; identify and diagnose drivers of unexpected changes to portfolio composition and performance.

  • Routine report preparation for local and global stakeholders.

  • Design, develop and monitor credit adjudication strategies and related scorecards to optimize the volume and quality of automated decisions; recommend changes or modifications to the Manager, Risk, Analytics and Compliance.

  • Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives, including in the preparation and execution of test cases.

  • Perform ad-hoc investigation and analysis, deliver results in concise and data-driven reports or presentations to management.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Post-secondary degree in an analytical or data-focused discipline, or equivalent years of experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management or financial reporting & analysis. Experience within automotive industry is an asset.

  • Curious mindset with ability to learn new concepts quickly, identify challenges and clearly articulate issues to others.

  • Critical thinking with proven analytical, problem-solving and research skills.

  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across stakeholder groups, influence change and deliver results.

  • Experienced in working with large relational datasets in Excel/Tableau/Power BI/SQL.

Salary Range:

$77,711.00 - $96,034.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
