Job Description

Risk Analyst 

 

As a Risk Analyst, you will be part of an experienced risk management team.  

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, an independent work ethic and an ability to challenge colleagues on a range of topics.  

You will be involved in day-to-day risk management activities. Additionally, you will be expected to continuously improve Cboe Clears regulatory framework to ensure the highest reporting standards are applied at all times. Furthermore due to Cboe Clears rapid expansion you will participate in a variety of projects to ensure requirements are identified, captured, mitigated accordingly. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Liaise and communicate with all relevant departments that have a role in Cboe Clears reporting process. 

Quality Assurance (data complete and in control, based on experience). 

  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of risk controls and processes within the company. 

  • Creating, maintaining and updating all relevant (regulatory) reporting procedures. 

  • Providing concrete improvements to the risk management function based on insights and findings. 

  • Timely reporting to senior management and regulators. 

  • Contributing to the successful delivery of risk projects. 

Desirable 

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in finance or equivalent. 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in risk management or related areas. 

  • Organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. 

  • You are eager to learn, result driven and a team player. 

  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting (EMIR, ESMA, Basel etc.) and the regulatory landscape is preferred. 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), Dutch communications skills are optional. 

  • Familiarity with risk models and risk frameworks is highly beneficial. 

  • Knowledge of coding languages like C++, Python or equivalents is a plus.
