The Revenue Management Lead will oversee the validation, management, control reporting, and payment processes for all gross-to-net (GTN) lines within the Specialty Care Canada and General Medicines Canada business unit P&Ls. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Market Access/Public Affairs, Contracting & Pricing, Supply, Patient Support, and Sales Forecasting teams. The lead will ensure that all internal and external factors impacting the GTN lines are accurately understood, communicated, and incorporated into financial forecasts, budgets, and reports.
The Revenue Management Lead will be responsible for ensuring product launch excellence from a Trade & Revenue Management perspective. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive route and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with the commercial team, optimizing commercial conditions to enhance the brand’s profitability and product life cycle, and coordinating with customers to ensure quality and distribution agreements are in place and product listings are accurate. Additionally, the Revenue Management Lead will maintain regular touchpoints with stakeholders to provide status updates and share important information about the product launch.
The Revenue Management lead will also be responsible for supporting the Tenders and Contracts portion of the trade responsibilities, fostering sustainable long-term relationships with buying groups and our blood services customers. They will possess a basic understanding of bid submissions and work closely with the Tender and Contracts Specialist.
The Revenue Management lead will have comprehensive knowledge of regional, provincial, and local systems, funding processes, buying processes, and distribution to ensure optimal portfolio performance management.
Main Responsibilities:
Revenue Management 40%

Responsible for monthly and quarterly reconciliation and control reporting to ensure compliance of Gross-to-Net (GTN) activities.

Review actuals and agreements to determine accurate accrual rates for commercial conditions.

Validate preferred listing agreement invoices and ensure timely payment of claims.

Coordinate patient support program (PSP) invoices between the PSP team and accounts payable to ensure timely payment of claims.

Maintain GTN system agreements and pricing conditions and troubleshooting claim processing issues.

Interact with vendors on account reconciliation.

Serve as iSHIFT Key User for Trade & Revenue Management.

Assist the Revenue Manager in their activities.
Launch Excellence & Innovation 40%

Develop/support the go-to-market strategies with the product Franchises to generate incremental sales via current and adjacent channels/outlets.

Determine most optimal and efficient route to market for new launches.

Annual and forward-looking horizon scanning of the market.

Work closely with Revenue Management to provide insights and recommendations based on forecasts and/or business performance (Sanofi products or competitive products) and develop tools to support a focus on the P&L and by Channel & Customer for the launched products.

Actively contribute to the deployment of standard commercial processes in the region on critical areas: Brand Planning, Customer Planning, Sales & Operational Plans, etc.

Provide recommendations based on ad hoc internal and external data analysis to better understand of sales dynamics of the new launches.

Participate in cross-functional launch meetings.
Tender and Contracts management 20%

Manage the tender submissions and contracts renewals via the Tender strategy used within each business unit.

Generate inventory and out of stock reports for buying groups.

Global database monitoring and updating with latest Canadian information post-award.

Coordinate with cross functional teams locally and with Global teams for any bid submissions.

Build financial models for pricing and P&L assessment.

Validate system with contract pricing.

Lead inventory management and communication process on divested products with wholesalers.

Review and validate ad hoc buying group and customer invoices.
About You
Experience & Skills
Education
-
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or other Business discipline, Life Sciences, or related field.
Languages
-
Proficiency in English (French is an asset).
Requirements
-
+4 years of work experience preferably in Biopharma, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health, or CPG industries with roles in Market Access, Pricing, Revenue Management, Marketing with P&L ownership or Supply Chain management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong Commercial and Financial acumen.

Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and financial scenario modeling.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and/or Google Docs Editors suite.

Ability to learn software and internal systems quickly.

Bid management preferred.
-
Preferred knowledge of PwrBI and/or Tableau with the ability to build data lakes.
-
Knowledge of IQVIA data is an asset.

The salary range for this position is:
$108,900.00 - $157,300.00
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
