Summary
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commission accounting, including familiarity with ASC 606 and 340, and experience working in sales and partner operations environments.
What You’ll Do

Participate in the month-end revenue close process, including preparation of revenue and commission journal entries, contract analysis, and account reconciliation for accurate and timely financial results.

Oversee all aspects of the commission cycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Collect, verify, and input commission data from various sources, maintaining accuracy and completeness.

Calculate and record commission accruals and expense entries using established tools and systems.

Collaborate with business partners across the revenue and commissions process (Sales Operations and Partner Operations teams) to define and establish scalable processes and process improvements to support commission-related activities.

Lead initiatives to enhance and automate commission processes for greater efficiency.

Assist in the review of non-standard customer contracts for revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies.
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

2 years + of experience in Accounting or Accounting System Implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Excellent investigative skills and experience with commissions systems (Xactly/CEA), ERP systems (Oracle, Workday), and other enterprise solutions for subscription services (Zuora).

Familiarity with Salesforce.

Experience with commissions workflows (Internal Sales or Partner) and knowledge of transforming reliable, steady-state manual processes into scalable automated workflows using automation tools (Alteryx).

Excellent accounting skills, including a solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as they apply to revenue and commissions (ASC 606 and ASC 340).

Proficient in collecting, verifying, and managing commission data with a focus on accuracy.

Audit experience in accounting, including documentation and control testing in a public accounting or public company setting.

Analytical mindset to evaluate commission structures and ensure accurate payments.

Problem-solving skills to effectively address and resolve discrepancies.

Meticulous attention to detail for precise calculations and accounting.
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $68,000.00 - $108,000.00
✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
