Job Description

The Research Manager serves as the day-to-day client lead and is responsible for managing the end-to-end research project, including quality oversight to ensuring high-quality deliverables that meets client expectations on budget.  

This role requires the ability to independently oversee all stages of the research process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate data into clear insights and recommendations. 

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate ability to manage all stages of research process, collaborate effectively across teams, build strong client relationships though consistent, high-quality delivery, and coach and support for the team members. 

  • Contribute to the development of RFPs and research design. 

  • Manage the full cycle of research projects from project kick off, questionnaire design, data analysis, report writing, providing strategic recommendations, and leading client presentations. 

  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact, managing expectations and proactively address project risks or issues 

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and scope while meeting high standards of quality.   

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the assigned team members, by providing guidance on executions of projects, and skills development 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • 4 years in Market Research or related roles with end-to-end research project management experience 

  • 2 years’ experience in client management  

  • Proficiency in using research and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Tableau) and familiarity with market research methodologies.  

  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose practical, well-reasoned solutions. 

  • Coaching: Ability to guide others through targeted feedback, inquiry to support team development.
