This role will be based in Pickering, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Support projects by creating various reports; Weekly, Monthly, quarterly and annual.
- Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations.
- Provide regular reports on project time accumulation, analyze budget variances.
- Provide input to client reporting as per contract requirements, or support input to alliance reporting per contract requirements.
- Prepare project monthly report.
- Special assignments, ad hoc reports and other related duties as required.
- Work with Procurement to help assess procurement and subcontractor progress. Create reports and burn-down curves.

The ideal candidate:
- Possess post-secondary education i.e. diploma or degree B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., B.Com, PMP, AACE, or possess equivalent relevant industry experience in senior roles within project controls and or project management. Nuclear experience.
- 7+ years of relevant Project cost and reporting l experience, Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Thorough knowledge of Power BI and other project management softwares.
- Demonstrate problem solving abilities, including the ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Knowledge of project management techniques including hands on experience applying on large projects. progress measurement and earned value techniques, analyzing data, and complex project reporting.
- Good knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
- Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required.
- Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
