General Summary:
The Market Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing last-mile logistics operations within an assigned service area. This role ensures deliveries are executed efficiently while maintaining high service standards for customers and partners.
The Market Logistics Manager works closely with drivers, terminal partners, customers, and internal teams to support day-to-day operations, resolve service issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures. The role also supports driver engagement, client onboarding, and operational improvements that contribute to the growth and success of the market.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics operations within an assigned service area, which may include all or part of a metropolitan region or multiple metropolitan areas.
  • Monitor delivery performance to ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded while maintaining adherence to operational procedures and customer requirements.
  • Forecast driver and asset needs based on projected delivery volumes within the service area.
  • Monitor orders and operational activity to ensure deliveries follow established processes, practices, and service standards.
  • Conduct regular visits to customer terminals or partner facilities (e.g., courier terminals) to ensure GoFor drivers are operating in accordance with customer procedures and operational expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with terminal managers and operational partners to address challenges and identify opportunities to grow parcel volume.
  • Support and coordinate driver dispatching activities within the defined service area to ensure efficient delivery coverage.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Onboarding teams to support the successful onboarding of new clients within the market.
  • Conduct regular driver inspections and field checks to ensure compliance with GoFor policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support the onboarding and orientation of drivers within the assigned service area.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for operational or service issues within the market and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues effectively.
  • Conduct merchant wellness checks to maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with GoFor’s services.
  • Provide operational insights and feedback to internal teams and leadership, representing the voice of drivers and field operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to independent owner-operators, fleet operators, and their drivers.
  • Implement operational procedures, directives, and initiatives issued by logistics leadership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of GoFor’s delivery platforms, systems, and operational workflows.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure smooth logistics operations within the assigned service area.
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or operations management.
  • Experience working in last-mile delivery, courier, or transportation environments is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with logistics systems, delivery platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Physical Demands

  • Regular travel within assigned service areas and terminal locations may be required.
  • Combination of office, remote, and field-based work environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move within operational environments such as warehouses, loading docks, and terminals.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to approximately 25 lbs.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, phones, and logistics systems for extended periods.
