Job Description
Join our Regulatory Compliance Management Team, as a Sr. Associate, reporting directly to our Compliance Management Executive Director in Canada.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead in administering the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) annual assessment
  • Liaise with Core Compliance Monitoring, Training, Testing and Conduct teams across multiple lines of business operating in Canada
  • Participate in various internal Compliance, governance and control forums and committees
  • Advise on regulatory compliance matters for new regulations, organizational developments, products and services
  • Administer the implementation of Canadian compliance policies, ensuring consistency across LOBs and contributing to regional and global policies requiring Canadian content
  • Assist in management of regulatory requests, audits, surveys, inquiries and reviews
  • Participate in industry working groups and forums
  • Liaise with regulators as required and during regulatory examinations


Qualifications :

  • Highly motivated, independent, and experienced professional with solid regulatory compliance background and technical knowledge of bank obligations and cross-border laws and regulations
  • Project and control management skills and experience
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance Management requirements and Resolver technology tool
  • Bachelors' degree & Legal Qualifications.
  • 5 or more years of relevant industry compliance or legal experience
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, resource management, organizational and decision-making skills
