Job Purpose:
- The Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Manager at TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS LLC is responsible for ensuring that all company products meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements. This role involves managing regulatory submissions, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and ensuring that the company adheres to all applicable laws and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents and applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage communications regarding compliance matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's competitive edge in compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation and records related to regulatory affairs and compliance activities.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the food industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing compliance projects and regulatory submissions.
- Experience with FDA, USDA, and other relevant food industry regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring product compliance.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance issues effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in regulatory software and tools for documentation and submission processes.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor a team in regulatory practices and compliance strategies.
