Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Reports to: National Sales Manager, VaughanAir
Position type: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Toronto, Canada (Preferred). Candidates residing on the East Coast of the United States will also be considered. Candidate must reside near a major international airport to support frequent travel.

Role Overview:
As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at Vaughan Air, you are the frontline driver of regional sales performance. You will manage your assigned territory, support and enable sales representatives, and ensure Vaughan Air’s products are effectively specified and delivered to customers. While this role includes some leadership responsibilities, the focus is primarily tactical including executing sales plans, supporting reps, and driving results in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Regional Sales Plans: Implement the annual sales and marketing strategies in the assigned territory, achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Sales Enablement & Support: Conduct training, lunch & learn sessions, provide technical application support, and act as a “voice of customer” resource to sales representatives.
- Territory Management: Actively manage assigned territory, monitor pipeline, backlog, and sales activity, and provide guidance to reps to improve performance.
- Product Application & Specification: Support sales reps in specifying VaughanAir products in tenders, bids, and projects, ensuring proper solutions and technical accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment & Margin Protection: Collaborate with account managers to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and profit margins are maintained.
- Sales Rep Relationship Management: Build strong working relationships with sales representatives in the region, providing day-to-day support, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, estimation, account management, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the territory, identifying opportunities for growth and providing exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; engineering or technical background required.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, ventilation, duct, or exhaust products strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing a sales territory and supporting sales representatives.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to track pipeline, backlog, and rep performance, and provide actionable support.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical support skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast and Midwest territories.

Physical demands and work environment:
- This position is primarily remote, based out of the employee’s home office, with frequent travel to customer locations and job sites.
- The role requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and use a computer for extended periods.
- Travel may include driving and occasional overnight stays. Commitment for 50-60% travel required.
