Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of International Markets, the Regional Sales Director | Canada will lead the strategy and execution of sales, distribution, and market development across Canada and all relevant channels. This role owns regional performance, distributor partnerships, and localized go-to-market strategies to drive volume, expand distribution, and strengthen brand presence across diverse international markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute regional commercial strategy across Canada and relevant channels with a focus on volume growth and distribution expansion.
  • Set country-level targets and partner with distributors and importers to develop accurate forecasts and executable sales plans.
  • Build and lead high-impact distributor and importer relationships, holding partners accountable to performance, execution, and brand standards.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and distributor activity to identify risks and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Drive consistent execution of pricing, promotions, and portfolio strategy across markets.
  • Lead regular business reviews with distributors and importers to assess performance and define action plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and in-market success.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels and continuity of supply across all markets.
  • Support key account development including regional chains, on-premise, and off-premise opportunities.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and key customer engagements.
  • Develop distributor capabilities through training and ongoing support to strengthen in-market execution.
  • Translate annual plans into quarterly and monthly targets, tracking performance and course-correcting as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • 5+ years in an international sales role with ownership of Canada.
  • Experience managing multiple distributors and/or sales regions concurrently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and distribution.
  • Based in Toronto with willingness to travel up to 75%.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with key account or national account management.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word).


Compensation

  • Estimated Base Salary Range: $210,000-$245,000 CAD.
  • Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, performance-based bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.
