Regional Ops Finance Manager, AMER

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Analysis Manager to join our team. As the Financial Planning Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for various financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting Opex and Capex, managing cash forecast, and reviewing and analyzing regional finance submissions. You will also play a crucial role in promoting business alignment with company policies and ensuring financial and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner, collaborating with various Operations team members to promote business alignment with company policies

  • Manage the annual budget and quarterly reforecast for America Data Center Operations

  • Review actuals against budget/forecast with AMER Data Center Operations team to provide details for flux analysis

  • Serve as a liaison with Operations team members to ensure accurate cash forecast based on project timeline and vendor's billing schedule

  • Review and analyze regional finance submissions to ensure accurate quarter-end accrual prior to submission to accounting

  • Compile month-end, forecast, and budget reporting package

  • Continuously improve Operations financial reporting process as business requirements evolve

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Corp. FP&A, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Tax, to ensure both financial and legal compliance

  • Analyze and interpret business trends to drive Operations financial strategy

  • Participate in cross-functional Finance and Operations teams to develop reporting/process changes to improve business visibility and efficiency

  • Undertake special projects that may arise for Finance or related programs

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis or other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

  • Familiarity with financial systems and tools (Oracle Cloud)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with various teams and departments

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in financial planning and analysis
