Who Are We?

At CMLS Financial, we strike a unique balance: the financial strength of a 50-year industry leader with the energy of a dynamic, fast-paced firm.

  • Growth & Exposure: With over $45 billion in assets under administration, our "booming" business means you gain high-level exposure and real opportunities for career advancement.
  • Supportive Culture: We are professional yet enjoyable. We provide a challenging environment supported by a team that wants you to succeed.
  • National Reach: Work with Canada’s most prominent banks, investment managers, and pension funds from a platform with offices coast to coast.

At CMLS Financial, our Regional Managers are the bridge between a broker’s vision and a funded deal. We are looking for a proactive growth-driver for the GTA East who is as comfortable structuring a complex file with a broker as they are analyzing regional market trends. This is a field-heavy, relationship-oriented role for a professional who is motivated to scale their career and our market share alongside a premier national lender.

Where You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Cultivate High-Value Partnerships: Build and maintain sustainable relationships with top-performing mortgage brokers in the GTA East through a proactive, consultative approach.
  • Navigate the 'Lending Box': Provide expert guidance on CMLS products and credit policies, helping brokers understand how to best position their deals for approval and efficiency.
  • Execute Field Operations: Utilize your mobility to provide on-site support, training, and troubleshooting, ensuring a consistent face-to-face presence within your broker network.
  • Facilitate Deal Flow: Monitor the lifecycle of applications in your pipeline, working collaboratively with internal underwriting and risk teams to ensure a frictionless experience.
  • Structure Complex Files: Partner with brokers to break down and organize difficult residential applications, ensuring they meet credit standards before they reach the underwriting desk.
  • Drive Regional Volume: Take full ownership of your territory’s funding targets, focusing on consistent growth and high-quality originations.

What We Value:

  • A strong background in residential mortgage underwriting or credit analysis.
  • You aren't satisfied with maintaining the status quo; you are driven to proactively capture market share and scale your territory.
  • You are a team player who understands that our success is built on the partnership between sales, underwriting, and risk.
  • You bring a robust, existing network within the GTA East broker community and can hit the ground running on day one.
  • You value relationships over transactions, focusing on being a trusted advisor to your broker partners.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Possession of a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license will be considered an asset.

Supporting Your Life at CMLS:

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive insurance (Drug, Vision, Dental) & Health and Wellness Spending Accounts.
  • Mental Support: 24/7 unlimited access to telemedicine, EAP, and mental health services for you and your family.
  • Time Off: 4 weeks paid vacation, plus personal/sick days and all statutory holidays.
  • Future Planning: RRSP Matching Program to help you build long-term wealth.
  • Family Support: Robust Maternity and Parental Leave Top-Up programs.
  • Professional Growth: Education reimbursement, mentoring, and continuous training.
