We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to lead in-store execution and drive growth across our most important National accounts. The role will be positioned in a dedicated region, and will focus on performance within the top opportunity accounts locally. This role is critical to optimizing executional performance across top share-driving accounts by ensuring flawless execution of sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with key retail partners, and delivering on revenue and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail landscape, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts within the region, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with retail partners.

Collaborate with customer market managers, national account managers, category managers, DSD network and in store teams to maximize brand visibility and performance in store.

Develop joint business plans with retail partners to align on goals, strategies, and execution priorities.

 

IN-STORE EXECUTION OPTIMIZATION

Ensure execution of agreed-upon sales, merchandising, main placement, paid placement, campaign opportunity and promotional strategies across all targeted stores within the region.

Drive execution on assortment expansion, increase shelf space, drive visibility through accelerating rate of  POS placement to maximize sales and share growth.

Collaborate with Customer market managers to conduct regular store visits to assess execution effectiveness, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

 

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS & REPORTING

Track and analyze performance metrics, including sales, market share, and execution KPIs, to assess the impact of in-store initiatives.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to both internal teams and retail partners to optimize performance.

Prepare and present regular updates and business reviews to internal stakeholders and external retail partners.

 

COLLABORATION WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS

Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain) to align on strategies and ensure seamless execution of shopper marketing, trade marketing and national campaigns.

Share market insights and retailer feedback to inform broader business strategies and improve future initiatives through national account and distribution teams.

Collaborate with field sales, Red Bull Canada distribution and national account teams to ensure consistent execution across the region.

 

PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY EXECUTION

Oversee the implementation of promotional programs and ensure compliance with aligned plan.

Negotiate incremental execution of permanent Placement, temporary placement, front end cold, and shelf expansion at top accounts within the region.

Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions in driving sales and share growth, and recommend improvements for future initiatives.

 

TERRITORY MANAGEMENT

Develop and execute a territory plan to prioritize key accounts, identify growth opportunities, and allocate resources effectively.

Act as a brand ambassador within the region, advocating for and enhancing Red Bulls position as the number 1 energy brand, in alignment with brand, national account and category initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in account management, field sales, or retail execution within the CPG or beverage industry.

Proven success in managing key accounts and driving in-store execution to achieve sales and market share growth.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts.

Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and sales tracking tools.

Additional Information

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $98,515 to $108,885. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
