Community Sports Partners is looking for full-time adult league referees to support our growing Soccer and/or Volleyball leagues both on and off the pitch. The primary responsibility of this role is officiating league matches, with additional support across league operations, facilities, and team engagement during non-game hours.

This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who understands the game, enjoys being involved in league operations, and is looking for stable, full-time work within a fast-growing soccer & volleyball organisation.

The responsibilities listed below outline the core duties of the role. This position is dynamic in nature, and team members may be required to support additional operational tasks as needed to ensure the smooth running and growth of the adult leagues.


RequirementsRefereeing & Game Day Operations
  • Officiate league matches consistently and professionally
  • Complete match reporting (scores, cards, incidents)
  • Verify team rosters and manage pre-game check-ins
  • Ensure punctual kick-offs and smooth game flow
  • Handle minor disputes and escalate when required
  • Support referee scheduling, availability tracking, and training of new referees
Field & Facility Support
  • Conduct routine field and equipment inspections
  • Assist with field setup, tear-down, and end-of-night checks
  • Report maintenance issues and field conditions
  • Perform light maintenance of nets, flags, and signage
Inventory & Equipment Management
  • Track and organise league equipment and supplies
  • Prepare weekly equipment kits for venues
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering
  • Maintain first-aid kits and log damaged or missing items
Team, Player & League Support
  • Make outbound calls to past teams, waitlisted teams, and incomplete registrations
  • Assist with league renewals and team retention
  • Respond to basic team enquiries via phone or email
  • Collect post-season feedback from captains and players
Administrative & Growth Support
  • Update team lists, standings, and league data
  • Flag unpaid teams or missing documentation
  • Assist with schedule changes and new venue launches
  • Support league promotions, upsells, and growth initiatives
Referee Development & Standards
  • Mentor and shadow new referees
  • Help standardise referee procedures and game-day expectations
  • Report repeat disciplinary issues and support consistency across leagues
