The role holder will be responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for assigned functional areas across the FNZ Canada business. As part of FNZ’s North American Talent Acquisition team, the role is pivotal in strengthening FNZ’s employer brand, building sustainable talent pipelines, and continuing to evolve FNZ’s direct, in‑house recruitment model into a business‑aligned, value‑adding function.
Beyond day‑to‑day recruitment delivery, this role will contribute to North American recruitment strategies, acting as a trusted Talent Partner to the business. Success in the role will be driven by improving quality and diversity of hire, adhering to FNZ North American recruitment standards, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement across the Talent Acquisition function.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Delivery & Business Partnership- Manage the full end‑to‑end recruitment process across multiple roles and job families.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver high‑quality hiring outcomes.
- Act as a key relationship manager between business stakeholders and the Talent Acquisition function.
- Provide guidance on Canadian and North American recruitment market conditions, competitor activity, and compensation trends.
- Build and strengthen FNZ’s local employment brand in Canada.
- Promote FNZ at Canadian university career fairs and events, where required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with target Canadian universities and early‑career talent pools.
- Support high‑volume graduate and early‑career recruitment, including assessment centres where applicable.
- Execute direct sourcing and headhunting strategies aligned with FNZ’s direct recruitment model.
- Screen, assess, and interview candidates to ensure alignment with business, cultural, and capability requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
- Ensure a positive, consistent, and professional candidate experience throughout the process.
- Track, analyse, and report recruitment performance metrics across North America, including time to fill, cost of hire, source of hire, and volume.
- Maintain recruitment data accurately within FNZ’s in‑house recruiting systems.
- Ensure all recruitment activity aligns with FNZ North American standards, local Canadian employment legislation, and diversity & inclusion principles.
- Manage and oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies where required.
- Participate in North American Talent Acquisition and HR initiatives, sharing best practices across the region.
- Provide recruitment support to other FNZ North American locations, as required.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and ways of working across Talent Acquisition.
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience (desirable).
- Significant experience operating as a Recruitment Partner, ideally within an in‑house or direct recruitment model.
- Experience recruiting across technology, financial services, and/or professional services environments preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high‑volume recruitment while maintaining quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and partner credibly with senior leaders.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results‑driven.
