Workrise is hiring anUpstream Recruiterwho will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for upstream oil and gas roles. We are seeking a motivated individual with a robust background in sourcing and recruiting, particularly within the oil and gas or skilled trades industries. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing high-volume recruiting demands efficiently and effectively.
This position is exempt and will report directly to the Upstream Recruiting Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, industry events, and partnerships with universities and trade organizations.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring teams, providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging skill demands in the upstream sector.
  • Recruit potential candidates outside of Workrise using a variety of sources
  • Sell potential candidates on the opportunity and value of Workrise to build pipeline of available workers in the energy market


What you should have:

  • 3+ years of high-volume staffing experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on upstream roles
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting tools, ATS platforms, and sourcing techniques
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Energy and/or Skilled Trades industries
  • Ability to prioritize multiple priorities with varying deadlines
  • Ability to maintain relationships through texting, (cold) calling, and flexible availability based on client base
  • Clear communication, both written and verbal


Additional experience preferred, but not required:

  • Recruiting experience in Oil and Gas industry
  • Local to Austin, TX
  • Experience with Bullhorn ATS system


Essential Job Functions:

  • Regular, on-time attendance
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to use office computer programs such as e-mail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
