As a Contract Recruiter at Tenstorrent, you'll be a key player in our mission to find and hire the best talent in APAC, especially Japan market. We're looking for a creative, outside-the-box thinker who can spot talent that will thrive in our unique culture. This role is hybrid, based out of either Japan, Korea, Taiwan or Singapore.

This is a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top technical talent in Japan, including engineers, developers, and other operational roles.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and onboarding new hires.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry connections.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and priorities, and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition.
  • Provide a high-touch candidate experience, ensuring both active and passive candidates feel valued and excited about the opportunity to join Tenstorrent.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to recruitment, including maintaining applicant tracking systems, preparing job postings, and managing recruitment budgets.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting
  • Fluency in Japanese and English; proficiency in a third language preferred
  • Experience working on a distributed or global team, with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving environment with shifting priorities.
