Role summary. Delivery engineer contributing across the three delivery waves under the guidance of the Senior React Native Engineer. Owns lower-complexity screens, contributes to shared components, participates in paired development with client's team.
Responsibilities.
Deliver screens and features across the three delivery waves.
Follow patterns set by the Senior Engineer and Technical Architect.
Write unit and component tests to meet the 75% coverage gate enforced in CI.
Contribute to Detox end-to-end test suites.
Participate in pull request reviews.
Must-have technical experience.
5+ years mobile engineering, minimum 3 years hands-on React Native in production.
Solid TypeScript.
Familiar with React Native 0.76+ and the New Architecture — understanding of Bridgeless, TurboModules, Fabric even if not architect-level authorship.
Fluent with Hermes and modern React patterns (hooks, composition, suspense).
Comfortable with TanStack Query and Zustand, or equivalent state management.
Test authorship experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Detox.
Native platform expertise (preferred, not required).
Basic ability to read native iOS and Android code to debug or modify existing modules. Not expected to author complex TurboModules from scratch.
Migration and replatform experience (preferred).
Any prior involvement in a React Native migration or feature-parity rebuild is a strong plus.
Industry background (preferred).
Prior work on payment flows, account management, or public-facing regulated mobile.
