What's on the Menu:
We have an excellent opportunity for an R&D Culinary Innovation Sr. Manager/Lead to make a difference in our International R&D organization here at Kraft Heinz! Your role will perform as an essential driver and leader within the 'International Consumer Culinary Experience' team, working alongside passionate culinary and consumer science professionals striving to achieve ambitious goals. It includes consultation and recommendations for all Culinary activities on assigned categories to all levels of the R&D organization You'll be reporting to the R&D CCX Director interlinked with cross-functional colleagues and external business partners.
Key Ingredients:

  • Overall management of a team of Innovation chefs internationally and be accountable for all kitchens organization in the building.
  • Lead multiple culinary driven programs either on Exploration, Innovation, Activation or Education.
  • Organize update & deliver culinary insights- consumer trends- inspiration/ideation via sessions for innovation projects and cross-functional teams via virtual or live audiences.
  • Proactively bring in new culinary driven business opportunities towards the team and business
  • Drive the culinary need within the organization and in collaboration with higher management
  • Partnering with the local teams (BUs Chef Network and BU R&D teams) to ensure growth projects are including the markets' needs.
  • Support Implementation of best practices throughout the international zone
  • Actively collaborates with Growth Marketing, Sales, Culinary and Consumer Insights counterparts
  • Ideate, inspire, and educate for cross functional teams either digital or as a live audience.
  • Lead in multidisciplinary work levels as a professional culinary brand ambassador for Kraft Heinz and external marketplaces.
  • Advocate the culinary ESG mindset on nutritional awareness- combined with Culinary expertise and creativity
  • Be an active member of the global KHC Culinary network community- sharing trends- recipe ideas- and building best practice capabilities.


Recipe for Success: Apply if it sounds like you

  • Culinary degree (i.e. Certificates from hospitality school- apprenticeship- Bachelors diploma)
  • 6+ years' work experience (international or specific region) in food service (applicable channels: hotels- FSR- QSR- pubs- catering- industry- or institutional)
  • 10+ years' experience in a corporate R&D environment is expected
  • Deep knowledge and appreciation of the Kraft Heinz portfolio
  • Must have excellent communication/presentation/collaboration and networking skills- with digital understanding.
  • Highly developed storytelling skills required for effective data presentation and business influence based on results.
  • Strong generalized knowledge and experience of an innovation kitchen and testing methodologies including
  • Experience with Agile working is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills (organization, prioritization and flexibility). Strong, credible and clear communicator with an ability to work across function, & geography through excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent English language skills- spoken and written
  • Must demonstrate an enthusiastic passion for food
  • Strong problem solving and attention to detail skills
  • Strong consultation and influencing capability
  • Ability to simplify complex data analysis to actionable, easy to understand insights.
  • Able to multi task, work alone and in a team
