Broadridge is seeking a Quantitative Software Engineer to join our Asset Management Solutions team, contributing to the development of our Portfolio Risk and Valuation Modeling products for hedge fund and asset management clients. The role involves designing and coding financial models, integrating third-party solutions, and providing support across development, QA, and production.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Quantitative Software Engineer to join our Asset Management Solutions team. In this role, you will contribute to Broadridge's cutting-edge Portfolio Risk and Valuation Modeling products, delivering solutions to our Hedge Fund and Asset Management clients. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in quantitative development, strong programming skills in Python and/or C#, a solid foundation in financial mathematics and statistics, and familiarity with portfolio risk, derivatives pricing, or valuation models. You should be comfortable working with large data sets, writing production-quality code, and collaborating closely with quantitative analysts and senior engineers in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Responsibility: Design and code financial models and financial analytics in accordance with customer and internal requirements.  This will include integrating third-party models within an existing integration architecture.

  • Secondary Responsibility: Provide support in the development, QA, and production issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Qualifications:

  • Financial engineering experience or working knowledge of Numerix, QuantLib, FINCAD or a similar financial library

  • 5-10 years development experience in C#, Python, or a similar language

  • Financial industry experience

  • Good knowledge of derivatives modeling and pricing concepts

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with the development team and management

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 CAD. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.  

  • Bonus Eligible Position  

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, life and vision insurance.  RRSP program with company match, paid parental leave, competitive vacation days and more. Medical insurance starts immediately upon hire.
