Are you the person we are looking for?

 

We are looking for an Senior Product Manager to help our team define and manage our growing product portfolio in the Automotive and General Embedded markets. This role includes encompasses product management, product marketing and product operations responsibilities. This includes helping to manage products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer and market requirements, leading productization activities, and working closely with engineering and customers on an ongoing basis to help deliver winning products. You will have a strong technical background and have recent experience in an automotive or an embedded software environment.

You will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within QNX and third parties including Engineering, Legal, Finance and Marketing to drive productization activities during all phases from inception to general availability.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to perform market and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals to aid product investment decisions.
  • Articulate and champion the value proposition of the QNX portfolio of products.
  • Develop sales enablement tools such as training material, white papers, presentations, competitive analysis, and other content to support the selling process.
  • Liaise and manage ecosystem partners who are contributing technologies that augment the QNX portfolio of products.
  • Be the prime for webinars, tradeshows, customer / prospect meetings and other outbound events

You will have:

  • Recent embedded experience with ARM or x86-based embedded device software
  • Product management experience gained in either the automotive and/or other mission critical embedded device domains
  • Proven embedded software development experience with C, C++
  • Significant experience in product management or technical marketing roles
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical program
  • Proven ability to work and engage with top notch engineering teams and ecosystem partners
  • Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation

It would be great if you have:

  • Product management experience related to cloud services.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and/or security standards (e.g. ISO 21434)
