Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
- Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and methodologies.
- Ensure test coverage and quality of the software applications by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices and techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation with a strong focus on Playwright.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Typescript, Java, Python, or PHP.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bitbicket pipelines, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience testing API’s and Desktop software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
