About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Programmer with expertise in Playwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a strong background in using Playwright for automated testing.
This is a remote role
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure test coverage and quality of the software applications by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices and techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in test automation with a strong focus on Playwright.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Typescript, Java, Python, or PHP.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bitbicket pipelines, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience testing API’s and Desktop software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
