How you’ll make an impact here – and on your career:
Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you'll focus your experience and expertise on our core Collaborative Accounts Receivable automation platform, and its integration with our ERP Payment solutions. Your role will be to drive quality initiatives across the development lifecycle, ensuring that products meet the quality standards. You will lead and mentor the QA team, implementing test strategies, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable software solutions.
You will work as part of a cross functional team, advocating for quality throughout the development process. Working alongside a diverse and global team of QA and Dev Engineers, you’ll dive into our tech stack and understand deeply how our engineering, product, implementation, and client success teams’ function. This will augment your ability to take on increasingly complex projects that support their efforts.
To accomplish this, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
- Proven experience in leading a QA team and managing testing processes in an Agile or DevOps environment with a Shift-Left mindset.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Test processes, and Software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in automation tools preferably in Java (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiar with Rest Assured, Postman etc.
- Exposure to ERP systems would be a strong plus.
- Experience with Version control systems like GIT, Test management tools like Jira/ TestRail, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Got solid knowledge of and practice in a variety of technology spanning, languages (e.g., Ruby, Java), databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), Operating systems (e.g., Mac, Windows, Solaris/Linux).Experience with AI and machine learning technologies and their application in QA.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Exposure to the Payments industry and/or PCI/DSS and/or accounting applications would be a strong asset.
What you'll do:
- Own projects and drive processes: Take ownership of projects, analyze process gaps and work actively towards building/aligning QA best practices.
- Partner across teams: Collaborate with Product managers, Customer care, DevOps, and other engineers to finalize requirements, ensure project goals are met, identify real time use cases and improve test effectiveness.
- Be a product SME: Be a fast learner and strive towards becoming a product SME
- Quality control: Closely track the test coverage with new releases ensuring comprehensive coverage and documentation of regression cases. Track defects, ensure timely resolution, and perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct performance evaluations: Evaluate the performance of your team members by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and ensuring accountability for quality outcomes and team growth.
- Assess Quality KPI’s: Define and monitor Quality KPIs on periodic basis to ensure the effectiveness of the testing process and overall product quality.
- Shift Left and Automation: Drive Shift Left approach by ensuring early involvement in the development process to identify and resolve defects sooner, improving overall product quality and focus on increased test automation coverage.
- CI Maintenance and Enhancement: Own CI maintenance and implement best practices to minimize the overall execution time and ensure robustness.
