Summary of This Role

Carry out procedures to ensure that all applications under test (AUT) meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Document and work to identify all problems to ensure resolution. Report progress on testing and problem resolution to appropriate parties. Devise improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Perform work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

What Part Will You Play?

.Test Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, including both manual and automated testing strategies.
•Defect Identification and Reporting: Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
•Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with development, product, and other teams to ensure product quality and address issues.
• Quality Standards and Guidelines: Developing and implementing quality standards, processes, and procedures:
.Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and issues early in the development process and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking quality metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, to assess product quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and product quality.

Skills and Qualifications

.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and tools (e.g., test automation frameworks).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting defects, collaborating with teams, and documenting test results.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to identify subtle defects and ensure thorough testing.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
.Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field; additional
experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
• Automation Test Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically Minimum 3 Years Relevant Exp
• MS SQL Server, MongoDB

• Postman, BDD/Cucumber Test Framework, JMeter, TestRail Experience
• Jira, Confluence experience
• Java, NodeJS, React experience
• Bankcard industry knowledge
