Mission
Your mission will be to improve the quality of automated tests, work in a team with other QA engineers and developers, and bring new ideas and approaches.
We are looking for not just a tester, but a Quality Engineer, who will help the product team with the automation of e2e tests (Selenium, API), as well as with the manual testing of experiments and building quality assurance processes. We have completely abandoned manual regression testing and now want to improve test coverage and quality.
Outcomes
- Lead a part of the product in terms of quality
- Maintain the test infrastructure
- Create test plans and cases, automate them (API, E2E)
- Improve on the test pyramid, split Selenium tests into smaller ones or rewrite them to API
- Manual checks (sometimes)
- Сode review, actively learn and share knowledge with the team
- Develop CI and test architecture
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA experience
- Understand and follow quality standards, software testing methodologies and test design techniques
- Experience in Selenium Webdriver and Git
- Understand and apply the principles of OOP
- Have at least 1 year of practical experience in automating testing of both REST API and UI in any high-level language (Java, C#)
- You know how to work in a team, you can argue your opinion and are open to new ideas and feedback
- Understand agile methodologies and the software development life cycle
- Nice to have: Experience in test refactoring
- Nice to have: Experience with Gitlab pipelines
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2)
