Job Title: QA Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a self-starter QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing automation and enablement. As QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our products. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, customer success, and support to define and execute test strategies that align with our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure product quality.
- Define and maintain test cases, ensuring full coverage of requirements.
- Manual and Automated Testing:
- Execute manual and automated test cases for new features and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using project management tools.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand features and potential risks.
- Provide feedback on product functionality and usability to ensure alignment with user needs.
- Evangelize best practices for writing testable, maintainable code with minimal friction for the entire engineering team.
- Test Automation:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze test results and metrics to improve processes and product quality.
- Contribute to improving QA best practices and standards across the team.
- Performance and Security Testing:
- Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet speed, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.
- Support security testing efforts to ensure compliance and data integrity.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Proven ownership of QA practice in an existing project
- Experience with Python and AWS
- Understanding of security testing principles and tools
Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
