About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our teamThe ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience in software testing and test automationAs a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using CypressIn addition to technical expertise, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the development team and other stakeholders, follow Agile methodologies, and use tools like Jira and Zephyr for efficient test management. 

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Develop and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and Postman to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, Management, and Quality Assurance to understand requirements and ensure test coverage 

  • Participate in the design and review of test cases, test scenarios, and test plans 

  • Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team 

  • Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues 

  • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases 

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient testing strategies 

  • Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives 

  • Utilize Jira and Zephyr for test case management and defect tracking 

  • Meet with Product Owners to communicate test progress, results, and potential risks 

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance 

 

About You: 

  • Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies 

  • Good coding skills (e.g. Javascript and C#) 

  • Experience with a defect tracking system (e.g. Jira, VSTS, etc) 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability of self-dependent problem-solving 

  • Understanding of APIs 

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins). 

  • Experience with Web automation testing 

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software products 

 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • At least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Postman, Selenium, etc.)
